Here you’ll find a list and a description, with serving suggestions for our wine jellies. Given their popularity not everyone is in stock all the time. Not to worry there’s always lots to choose from. Check out our recipe section of our web site for some ideas, or if you have a favorite use for our wine jelly send it in and we’ll post it.

Here’s the line up:

Apple - Crystal clear, bright apple taste.

Apple & Cinnamon - Our apple wine with a cinnamon stick in it. Spoon over baked fruit or pork ribs, serve along side a roast or pork chops.

Spiced Apple - Like an apple pie in a jar, with a kick. Add to pork in a slow-cooker for pulled-pork.

Black currant – One of our most popular wines, preserves and it’s no different for the wine jelly. Big bright flavour and rich colour makes it a hit on cheese.

Black & red Currant - Black currant wine jelly with about 20% Red currants blended in. Nice combination of the wine and the freshness of the fruit.

Cabernet Sauvignon - Try with dark chocolate

Chardonnay - The pure golden colour is indicative of its pure and delicious flavour. Need a quick dinner? Pound out 4 boneless chicken breasts and coat with flour. Sauté for 2 minutes on each side in butter and garlic. Spoon about ½ cup of wine jelly into the pan. Cover the pan and give it a good shake. Let simmer for about 20 minutes.

Chardonnay with Tarragon - Change things up a little, try the chardonnay with tarragon in the recipe above. Mmmm…Good.

Cherry – Made from our cherry wine, bright colour, looks and tastes great on cheddar.

Cranberry - Impress your Thanksgiving guests by offering cranberry wine jelly along with a traditional cranberry sauce.

Merlot - The dark colour makes a great contrast on top of white cheeses.

Hot Merlot - Just a little heat, if I made it hotter you would not be able to taste the wine, so it has a gentle heat.

Onion – Made from our onion cooking wine which is real onion wine, not a white wine with onion flavouring added to it. Great with pâté.

Onion and fine herbs – Works with a number of vegetarian dishes.

Onion and Rosemary - particularly good with lamb or any meat.

Peach – Light fresh peach taste.

Pear – Crystal clear, clean, sweet pear taste.

Pear & ginger – Made from our pear wine and then a large amount of ginger is added to give this jelly a hot ginger flavour.

Raspberry Merlot - Made from our Merlot wine and fresh raspberries, blended at a 50-50 ratio. This one can be served for breakfast or dinner.

Rhubarb – Slightly pink, crisp rhubarb taste, it’s a winner on cheese.

Spiced Pumpkin - Made from our Pumpkin wine, then we added the pie spices to it. When Ontario peaches are in season, split the peaches in half, take out the pit and place them on the BBQ.. Take them off when they are really hot and place a spoonful of jelly where the pit was. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Looks elegant and is fast and tasty. Try as a spread over pumpkin or zucchini breads.

Shiro Plum – Clean and clear plum taste, a winner with baked chicken or in stir fried vegetables.

Sangria - The Sangria changes from batch to batch, we use wine and about 10% whole fruit.

Strawberry Merlot - The jelly is made from Merlot and 50% fresh strawberries. It’s one of the most popular because of it’s versatility.

Ice Wine Jellies : $12 each

Maple Syrup Ice Wine - At Shambala Bed and Breakfast here in Buckhorn, they serve our Maple Syrup Ice Wine Jelly to all of their guests for breakfast. Their B&B is outstanding, worth the stay just to have one of Audrey’s breakfasts. Making your own brunch? Make it really special; serve our Maple Syrup Ice Wine jelly on crepes or French toast. For dinner serve it with ham and spooned over a baked apple for dessert.
