Cooking Wines
Garlic Cooking Wine and Marinade
$7 each or 3 for $20 / 375ml
This fabulous cooking wine is such a find because it is a real garlic wine. Commercial cooking wines are made from a poor quality white wine with garlic flavor added to them. Whereas ours is a true garlic wine made from Ontario garlic fermented into a wine. Use this cooking wine in sauces or stir fries. When marinating add ¼ cup of wine to any meat and let it marinade for up to a day in a zip lock bag.
Onion Cooking Wine and Marinade
$7 each or 3 for $20 / 375ml
Another fabulous find. Again like the garlic wine, the onion wine is a true onion wine, produced from Ontario onions, not just onion flavoured wine.
Fiery Peach
$7 each or 3 for $20 / 750ml
This is our peach wine with hot peppers and chilies blended in. To the taste the wine seems very hot & spicy, but when you cook with it, it has more of the effect of adding flavour, as well as heat to your dishes. Nice when added to pan fried fish. Marinade your chicken, or pork chops in it for up to a day, veggies or shrimp marinade for no more than a couple of hours.
Merlot Cooking wine
$7 each or 3 for $20 / 750ml
This red cooking wine can be used any where you want to be creative. Add a ¼ cup towards the end in a tomato based pasta sauce or poured over the meat in a slow cooker.
